Derbyshire has no wind turbines. 4 are being planned to go in at Carsington Water.

The government is funding local communities to create their own sources of renewable energy and earn money from it.

What i can't understand is why can't they make small wind turnbines from street lights and also have solar on street lights too.

When you think about it there are millions of street lights running up and down motorways, main roads and dualcarriage ways out of teh way of where people live - why can't we make street lights that combine solar and a wind turbine?

Is it me? lol
