ALFRETON Town face a tough test on Tuesday night when they travel to take on in-form Stalybridge Celtic in Blue Square Conference North action (7.45pm).

The Tameside club are sat in fourth place and a win over the Reds would put them third.

The Reds will be buoyed by last Saturday’s first league win in seven games as they go in search of a first away win in four outings, and a fifth of the season on the road.

Manager Nicky Law has no injury worries but he is still without Kyle McFadzean who has not yet fully recovered from tonsillitis but he anticipates calling Under-19s goalkeeper Matthew Wakefield into his squad.

Stalybridge won the first encounter of the season 4-3 at the Impact Arena back on January 5 when Chris Hall notched a four-timer.

Reds from: Laurence Matthewson, Anton Brown, Mark Barnard, Tony Butler, Matt Wilson, Rob Pacey, Laurie Wilson, Steve Warne, Josh Law, Kris Bowler, Chris Walton, Danny Reet, Brian Cusworth, Paul Clayton, Matt Glass, Massiah McDonald, Matthew Wakefield.
