Alfreton Town's FA Carlsberg Trophy second round replay tie with Farsley Celtic on Monday night has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

The decision follows a 2pm pitch inspection and it is the second time the weather has beat groundsman Dick Dennett's attempts to stage the tie following last Tuesday's cancellation.

The fixture has been rearranged for Tuesday, January 29 with a 7.45pm kick-off at the Impact Arena.

The next three Alfreton fixtures are:
Wednesday, January 23
Alfreton Town v Holbrook MW
Derbyshire Senior Cup, third round (7.45pm)

Saturday, January 26
Alfreton Town v Kettering Town
Blue Square Conference North (3pm)

Tuesday, January 29
Alfreton Town v Farsley Celtic
FA Carlsberg Trophy second round replay (7.45pm)

ALFRETON Town have the chance to inflict a first Blue Square Conference North away defeat of the season on league leaders Kettering Town on Saturday (3pm).
The Poppies arrive at the Impact Arena five points clear at the top of the table and having taken an impressive 25 out of a possible 33 points on the road so far.
The Reds will be buoyed by the fact that they took a point from Rockingham Road back in mid November and that they are unbeaten in their last three league games against the full time title favourites.
Reds manager Nicky Law adds latest signing, central defender Rob Pacey to his squad for the first time but he is still without injured midfielder Kris Bowler and striker Danny Reet who sits out the last of a four match ban.
If Alfreton can extend their unbeaten run to four games in all competitions with a win, it could lift them up to eighth place in the league.

Reds from: Kyle Sutcliffe, Phil Senior, Kyle McFadzean, Anton Brown, Tony Butler, Matt Wilson, Rob Pacey, Josh Law, Steve Warne, Chris Walton, Paul Clayton, Brian Cusworth, Peter Knox, Laurie Wilson, Massiah McDonald, Matt Glass, Mark Barnard.
